Providencia has Colombia's largest barrier reef, 12 miles long by 660 yards wide, clear blue waters and wide and shallow reef valleys and beautiful shelves surrounding the island, full of marine animal species, especially a great variety of sponges and corals and very fishy reefs, offering to divers the chance of seeing easily barracudas, rays, jurels, red snappers, sharks, groupers, turtles, dolphins and many more. That's why Providencia is one of the world's more exotic diving places.
